Their words, unfiltered
Real testimonials from parents who entrusted their children to Les Colibris.
Former Colibris students share their experience: how Montessori pedagogy prepared them for life, developed their autonomy and curiosity.
I love my school so much that if there were a ranking, I would give it a heart.
For example, Luca is very good at tidying up. He told me to be gentler when putting the Legos back in their box and showed me how to do it. I'm starting to see his ideas and actions that I can also learn from. Thank you so much for all your efforts and for the love we feel in the classroom and the school.
We're not English-speaking at home but Léonard is no longer afraid of English. It took a little time. The workshops are greatly appreciated — the building and outdoor areas are "awesome"!
What a relief for me, a mum full of guilt, to be happy knowing that the children feel as good at school as at home. The school is truly a second family for them.
I am impressed every day by Jake's French, his ability to respect others, and I know that all of this is thanks to the work at Les Colibris. I have always been 100% delighted with the school.
Thank you for filling the hearts of parents with such joy and pride when we see our children engaged in activities so beneficial for them.
We are extremely happy with the school and the progress the boys are making and would love them to stay with the Colibris.
I want to congratulate you for this beautiful school that you run with such seriousness, dedication and love for the well-being of children. My child has found complete balance in the Montessori education. The maths tools gave her remarkable ease, and her progress in English was far beyond our expectations.
I am convinced that the school is changing our daughter's destiny. In one year, she has become a big sister and found a space to grow. This is everything we wished for. The school is truly an extension of the family.
Lylla loves coming to your school. Every morning she asks me if we're going to Les Colibris...
His desire to know and his independence grew during these months. The year-end report was a great reward — every word about Sacha's personality was weighed and fair. Montessori education and the people who accompany it have been able to capitalise on the qualities of each child.
He spent 5 fantastic years and we have been able to see many improvements thanks to you.
A moment dedicated to them, to us, where time stopped and nothing else mattered — that's rare! Faustine was proud of the gifts she had prepared, she was gentle and calm to share this moment full of love.
Solid foundations for what comes next
Whether moving to Norway, Mauritius or a French school, children who leave Les Colibris arrive with confidence and strong academic foundations.
We just received Ona Sofie's progress report for the first semester. She has superb results and I wanted to thank the Colibris team once again for the work they did with her. She was really well prepared!
If we come back to France, we absolutely want to come back to the school. We see many differences with the school here in Mauritius — it was a wonderful adventure for the girls. Long live Maria Montessori and long live Les Colibris!
The teacher tells me that despite skipping a year, Léa is well above the required level for the beginning of CP — in writing, reading, maths and of course English. She asks for extra worksheets and greater difficulty. She keeps the Montessori spirit in every way.
I wanted to thank ALL of you for the work you do every day and for what you have done for Anna who has become a little girl who believes in herself, is autonomous, curious and eager to learn.
