A unique setting where nature and technology meet to inspire learning.

Located in the heart of the Brague Natural Park, within the Sophia Antipolis technology hub. Our school benefits from an exceptional natural setting. We have created four distinct outdoor spaces: a natural park, an animal enclosure with vegetable garden and fruit trees, a sports field, and a children's garden, allowing children to connect with nature every day, take care of it and contribute to the community.

A Montessori accredited school

Since 2015, our school has been accredited by the A.M.F. (Association Montessori France) and the I.S.M.M. (Institut Supérieur Maria Montessori). This accreditation recognizes and values the quality of Montessori pedagogy, educator training, and complete materials for child development. Accreditation must be renewed every three years to maintain the required quality standards, and our school has successfully renewed its accreditation every time.

We are the only bilingual school in the south of France and one of only 14 Montessori schools in France to have obtained this accreditation (out of approximately 200 Montessori schools).

FAQ

From what age do you enroll children at Biot?

We welcome children from age 2 in our toddler community, offering a continuous pathway up to age 12 (primary) and 15 (middle school).

How does a school visit work at Biot?

The visit includes a pedagogical presentation, a tour of the different environments (2-3, 3-6, 6-12, middle school), discovery of our outdoor spaces, and time for discussion with the team.

Is the Biot school bilingual?

Yes, French-English immersion is part of everyday life. Each classroom has both French- and English-speaking educators who interact naturally with the children throughout the day.

What are the hours and after-school options?

The school is open from 8:10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An early drop-off service is available from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., and after-school care runs from 4:00 to 5:50 p.m. Extracurricular activities are offered every day.

How does enrollment work?

After your visit, submit your child's application through our Colibris Montessori app. Once completed and approved, enrollment is finalized in coordination with our team.

Montessori at Home
